We asked ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Mode three questions a US commercial lender might ask, three times each. FileInvite ranks first for the category question on four of six platforms, but is missing or mentioned only in passing in five of six answers to the problem question. Your website and review profiles also currently show three different pricing models.
The lending pivot is landing. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini ranked FileInvite first in all 12 of their answers for commercial lenders. Google AI Mode named it in 2 of 3.
Problem-led answers go elsewhere. Asked how an SBA lender can stop chasing documents, ChatGPT answered from sba.gov alone and Perplexity drew on PacketComplete, Clustdoc and the Coleman Report. Google AI Mode led with Lendflow. Only Claude consistently put FileInvite first.
Third parties write the category story. Claude and Perplexity ranked FileInvite first for the category question without citing fileinvite.com once. They relied on directories, listicles and vendor blogs instead.
Pricing is inconsistent at the source. fileinvite.com quotes US$9,900 a year, the compare page on fileinvite.com still offers a $29 a month plan, and review sites list $829 a month and a free plan. AI answers were correct on pricing in this test, but the older figures remain live for any model that reads them.
Copilot only finds FileInvite when it searches. Copilot named FileInvite once in three category answers, ranked first, when it cited fileinvite.com. In the two answers with no cited sources, it recommended nCino, Abrigo, Blend and others instead.
3 runs per prompt per platform. Rank is FileInvite's position among named tools.

AI Mode used keyword versions of each prompt. Copilot has no public API, so it was run by hand in a browser, three times per prompt.
Number of platforms (of 6) that named each vendor in an unbranded answer.
Based on public signals. Search Console and analytics access would confirm these.
Lenders who describe the SBA document problem get answers built from sba.gov, PacketComplete, Clustdoc, Lendflow and industry blogs. FileInvite likely has too few current, answer-shaped pages on SBA 7(a), 504, CRE or annual review collection for AI to cite.
The live pricing page quotes US$9,900 a year with no free plan. The compare page still offers a $29 Lite plan and a 14-day trial, and Capterra and GetApp list $829 to $2,499 a month and a free plan. AI answers were correct on pricing in this test, but in one browser check on 28 October Google AI Mode repeated the $829 figure.
The compare page sets FileInvite against DocuSign, email, Google Drive and Dropbox. AI compares it with nCino, Aloan, Clustdoc and PacketComplete, so third parties and competitors fill that gap.
G2 has 11 reviews at 4.2 and lists CRM tools (Zoho CRM, Accelo, SuiteDash) as alternatives. Capterra has 99 reviews at 4.7. Directory categories range from Digital Signature and File Sharing to Admissions and Mortgage, which blurs what AI thinks FileInvite is.
The product page claims 30M+ files collected and 500+ complex lenders. The compare page claims 20M financial documents and "thousands of happy customers". Conflicting numbers reduce how confidently AI repeats either one.
A RequestLoops ad titled "FileInvite Alternative" appeared on Google for "FileInvite pricing" in our 28 October browser check.
robots.txt does not block AI crawlers, and the key pages are indexed and fetchable. There is no llms.txt file, which is optional and low priority.
Your compare page still offers a $29 a month Lite plan and a 14-day trial, and Capterra and GetApp still list $829 a month plans and a free plan. AI quoted the current US$9,900 price in this test, but these pages are what any model can fall back on, and in one browser check Google AI Mode repeated the $829 figure. Remove the legacy pricing FAQ from the compare page, then ask Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice and G2 to update the listing to the current Standard plan.
Win the problem-led questions. Become a cited answer when lenders describe the SBA and CRE document problem, not only when they search for a tool.
Own the comparison conversation. Shape how AI compares FileInvite with the vendors lenders actually shortlist.
Make third-party sources tell the lending story. Bring reviews, directories and independent coverage in line with the lending positioning.
