We are very fortunate. We get to work on a diverse range of interesting and exciting projects across a broad range of marketing disciplines. Sometimes, it pays to stop and recognise the amazing clients we have the privilege to work with.
It is always a collaborative exercise as we couldn’t do our job as well without the input and generosity of information we rely on to understand the client business or organisation, its goals and/or the target audience.
It’s time to celebrate a few of our recent clients and their projects and to acknowledge our team and their expertise.
Mavuno Organics – The Good Grower
Mavuno Organics is an organic grower and exporter of high quality, sustainable and fair trade avocados and passionfruit. Their primary markets are in Europe with distribution in Spain and Netherlands. They have over 200 organic farmers in Kenya and a significant staff in admin and processing.
Anthony Ngugi is the CEO and the visionary behind Mavuno. He has a degree in organics and is strongly focused on water conservation, sustainability, ethical business practices, living wages for farmers and has worked through GlobalGAP, GRASP, SMETA, FSSC22000 and other certifications.
Our project began with a full audit which identified a large number of website and strategic issues. The report findings gave us all a roadmap for improving Mavuno’s performance and reputation to increase their exports and to open up new markets. We recommended a new website on WordPress and we recommended working with a branding agency to nail the design and messaging.
We created all the website content, managed the SEO, advised on navigation and conversion and built trust factors and social proof. We also migrated from a ccTLD (country-level domain) to a gTLD (general-level domain) and changed to a more intuitive domain name. Most of our team was involved with this project, and we collaborated with a branding and design agency and a development agency. We contributed strategic direction, website architecture, SEO strategy, website content and blog posts, image recommendations, technical management, social proof recommendations and performance measurement. We set up Google and SEO tools and used cloud software for international content management and approval.
It has been a real pleasure to work with Anthony and his talented team and we believe that the results are outstanding. We look forward to getting stuck in to the next phase – content, organic and paid social media, SEO strategy, newsletters and we are excited about the potential this project has to bring success to the Mavuno team and the staff and farmers in Kenya.

Regen to Market – Aotearoa’s First Verified Regenerative Produce Market
Our team has been super excited to work on this project. We have worked with Dr Hugh Jellie and his team at Ata Regenerative for several years now and we have been proud to have been a part of Ata’s growth into one of the top regenerative consulting and management companies in the country. Ata Regenerative are the only qualified Ecological Outcome Verification providers in New Zealand which is the necessary qualification that allows inclusion into the global regenerative market known as Land to Market. There are three associated entities in this regenerative programme.
Ata Regenerative is the farm based regenerative advisory and verification entity. Ata is New Zealand’s only Savory Hub and works with the Savory Institute, a global leader in regenerative transformation.
Farmer’s Footprint NZ is a charity that shares the stories of regenerative progress to accelerate regenerative food systems as a means to restore human and planetary health.
And now we have just launched Regen to Market, Aotearoa’s first ever verified regenerative produce market, Regen to market is the connection with the conscious consumer, people who are aware of the damage caused by industrial farming to animal and human health. People who are looking at real, verified, regenerative produce without any of the greenwashing prevalent in our food supply systems.
We have started with a one-page website to launch this project and it features information about the project as well as our first verified farm and where to buy the produce. The products have both the Regen to Market and our global partner, Land to Market’s seal so you know you are buying the real McCoy.
In the coming months we are creating a marketplace for verified regenerative farms and horticultural suppliers and will feature stockists by region so you can source from as close to your location as possible. This limits the impact of supply chain fossil fuel use and helps to stimulate regional businesses and communities. We worked with a designer and a development agency to create the website and we collaborated with the amazing Ata team to create content that will resonate with the target audience.
There is plenty more to come on this project – much more content, an SEO strategy, organic and paid social media and global collaboration with regenerative organisations and suppliers.
Elegance Group – Buy Atlassian Licenses your way
We were approached by New Zealand SaaS rising star Elegance Group to manage the SEO for two new websites and a bold strategy aimed at the US market. Elegance Group are an ITSM and Cloud Specialised, global award-winning Atlassian Platinum Partner who specialise in solution design, implementation, migrations and licensing of the Atlassian suite of solutions .
The two websites are a new New Zealand ccTLD website and a website on the internet country code .io. This is often used by companies in technology, startups and innovation. They wanted to trial a collaborative startup strategy to test the market for demand for an innovative approach to software licensing. There was a lot of background work undertaken from the development of the concepts through an intensive research phase to mapping out keywords and developing the content.
It was decided to use static websites via CloudCannon as this gave the advantage of very fast load times. Design collaborated with the developers to create a sleek, modern look and the Elegance team worked with the Proxi content creation team to create content that was mapped to SEO considerations, research and the target audience.
The technical SEO part of the project was complex as there were very few pre-built fields that matched our advanced SEO requirements. Custom fields were created for management of canonical tags, permalinks, metadata and Open Graph Tags. Preferred topic lists were shared to ensure we were targeting content with search demand and content was created for blog posts, white papers, case studies and software comparison pages.
Phase two is a domain migration and a campaign to target the Australian market. Early results show increasing visibility in organic search results and some very positive trends in analytics. We have enjoyed being the technical guides for this project and we look forward to working on the next phases.

Next Group – Your Home Technology Experts
Next Group are an Auckland based home technology company that specialises in home automation, AV, smart homes, security and internet services. Derek Crane is a Director and Project lead and he approached us as their range of websites were not performing and business leads from the web were slow. Our first step was to review and audit their websites, the platforms used, analytics results and the SEO strategy. A combination of exact match domains on Bitrix24 was serving them poorly and even the main hub website was being affected by this approach.
We instigated a new WordPress build for the main NZ domain and developed a strategy to migrate all the URLs from multiple domains to the new website via 301 redirects. We collaborated with Derek and his team and with the chosen developers and we created all of the website content, the blog posts, social media accounts and managed the SEO strategy. Post launch we implemented a targeted Google Ads campaign and created a range of Meta Ads for the Auckland market.
The results have been outstanding with visitor numbers, organic traffic, paid search and social media numbers as well as engagement and most importantly, leads, all skyrocketing. This has been a great project to collaborate on and we are excited about the next stage which will incorporate a more intensive content and SEO approach as well as continued growth in social media.
