Strategy

This client was repositioning from a general document collection tool into a platform for complex lending workflows in the US financial services market. The problem: neither search engines nor AI platforms had caught up with the new positioning. Buyers researching lending technology inside ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews were not seeing the brand at all.

We ran the first three pillars of our SaaS Growth Framework in full. The technical audit surfaced 358 broken links, 110 404s, missing canonicals and mobile page speed failures, all fed to the dev team as prioritised fixes. An AI Visibility Audit benchmarked citations across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, identifying gaps in brand entity clarity, structured data and positioning consistency for LLM retrieval.

From there we rebuilt the signals AI platforms rely on: a Human + AI content framework defining page structure, FAQ strategy and content chunking rules, optimised G2 and Capterra profiles repositioned around complex lending, and schema foundations across the site. A customer insights framework gave the sales team structured pain point and language mapping to keep content aligned with how buyers actually describe the problem.

The early signals confirmed the strategy. AI visibility climbed 9% in a single week, Perplexity visibility grew 89%, and Google began serving impressions for KYC/AML, secure document sharing and lending technology queries that did not exist for the brand before the repositioning. Impressions arrive before clicks: the next phase converts that emerging visibility into pipeline.
