Strategy

A New Zealand owned SaaS company wanted to improve their SEO performance by ranking for a number of desired keywords that would drive business results. The key was to identify keywords that are being used by potential customers at the bottom of the sales funnel i.e. those who are most likely to take a purchase action.

We designed a comprehensive strategy that involved the identification of keyword groups, competitive analysis, Google Ads conversion testing, tools setup, management of new pillar pages and all internal links and external backlinks.

We had already managed the development of the new website so we knew that technical performance was excellent and the site was error free.

We worked with the designer and developer to create new pages with excellent user experience that offered answers to as many potential questions as possible as well as plenty of social proof and FAQs.

Early results are looking very good. In month three, the website is ranking for 80 new targeted keywords and traffic is up 149% on last year at the same time. This will continue to improve as many of the keywords on page two of search results move up to page one.
