I have always had an affinity with words. An avid reader, my first job was as a librarian, a role I continued in for many years. I also had a stint as a Waterstones bookseller in London, where I spent all my earnings buying books from the store. Call it business reinvestment.

I find the unique creativity required to write successful content for different clients the most exciting challenge of writing. I also enjoy working with clients to meet their specific needs.

I worked as a journalist for many years and even won a Voyager New Zealand Media Award in 2018, but remain relatively humble. I have further experience in CMS curation and SEO through work for the MailOnline and as chief content writer for the Waiariki Park Region digital platform.

I also moonlight as an actor, having worked on stage and screen in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Last year, I completed training with The Actors’ Program in Auckland. Screen credits include Duckrockers, Our Flag Means Death and a three-second stint on an ACC commercial – just missed out on the Oscar for that one.
